Today's new entry in the Midhgardhur Wikia is Landvaettir, also known as "landwights". These are the "demihuman" sentient races of Midhgardhur, created (like humans) by the Aesir and Vanir. The landvaettir are said to be closer to nature and the land than humans are, hence the name. The types of landvaettir in Midhgardhur include, but are not limited to, alfar (elves), dvergar (dwarves), huldrufolk ("hidden folk" or gnomes), and lytlingar ("littlings" or halflings).
