Word Count Wednesday! (1/6/16)
Hello everyone!
Well, I'm deep into editing Ormsbani (which needs a lot of TLC) and researching some future projects, so my writing pace is a little slower this week. Current Word Count Wednesday total (on "Courtship" - my latest project for Tales From Midhgardhur on Channillo): 1898.
Don't forget to check out The Thursday Interview tomorrow!

Beginning work on my next Channillo story: "Courtship"
Hello everyone!
I just thought I would mention that I have begun work on my February story for my Channillo series, Tales From Midhgardhur, to be entitled "Courtship." February seems the time for a love story of sorts, so this will be a tale of the courtship of Gydha by King Haraldur (you may already be familiar with these characters from The Saga of Asa Oathkeeper and the Channillo story "Dark Valkyrie" . . . if not, you should read up on them!). If all goes as planned, you should be able to read "Courtship" on Channillo on Monday, February 1st, 2016!

Reaction to a first reading of Ormsbani
So, my wife Tanya just finished her first read-through of the manuscript of Ormsbani. She's the first person to see it since I finished writing the initial draft! Given the emotional roller-coaster she experienced during the initial reading, I am proud of the work I did on the first draft! I know if needs work, but I think there is some real gold in there amidst the dross! This is what she wrote:
"Wow, just finished reading Colin Brodd's newest manuscript Ormsbani and it was so good and so unexpected. Oh I loved it. It will be a while before other people get to read it (this was a first read through kind of edit) but it was so good!"
